Well, Yosemite was a blast! I got really close to a handful of old and new friends, and I had a week that I would never forget. Yes, I did take my DSLR up hiking everywhere, and I actually carried my tripod up to the top of Yosemite falls. (I leaned my tripod with my DLSR attached over the edge of the falls!

)
It really was a young photographer's dream come true.

I stayted there for a week and the weather was close to perfect. For the first couple of days, it was sunny and peaceful: a good combination for nature shots. Then, a snow storm blew in! Ahh it was a winter wonderland! The snow settled and I shot, shot, and shot. I did, however, lose a lens cap at omygosh rock. It fell... say 2000 feet. Heehehe.
In the end, I came up with some numbers.
Shots taken: 1250

Shots kept: 513
Memory used: 2.73 GB
Shots of friends: 124
Shot with me: 11 (I like to stay BEHIND the lens

)
If you ever go to Yosemite, BRING YOUR CAMERA. No brainer.
Also, there's a sweet little Ansel Adams gallery/gift shop in Yosemite. Be sure to look it up. I bought a cool little book called [The Camera written by Ansel Adams himself! It's great!
Deviations will be up soon!
